The Great Bengaluru Map Cleanup: My 11 April 2026 Audit of "Ghost" Packers & Movers

Today's Shield Score: 0% (0/4 Verified)

Date: April 11, 2026

Auditor: Jeethendra Sharma, Chief Trust Officer

As the Chief Trust Officer of Bengaluru Logistics, I have one simple mission: Transparency. For the past few days, I have been on the ground in Sarjapur, Electronic City, and Attibele, auditing the addresses of "Packers and Movers" that pop up on your Google searches. What I found was a digital scam network. Our city’s map is being manipulated by "Digital Ghosts"—companies that claim to have offices at prestigious or convenient locations but are, in reality, non-existent.

The "Ghost" Audit Report (April 2026)

Below are the locations I have physically verified. You can find my video evidence for each of these audits linked below.

1. The "Empty Plot" Scam

  • Address: Plot No.08, Ground Floor, TNT Emerald, Kasavanahalli Main Rd, Sarjapur.

  • The Reality: An empty, vacant plot. No office, no staff.

  • (Watch the Video Evidence Here)

2. The "Geographical Impossibility" Scam

  • Address: Plot No. 7, First Floor, Sarjapur-Marathahalli Rd, Kaikondrahalli, Attibele.

  • The Reality: Kaikondrahalli and Attibele are miles apart. They are using random area names to trap clicks.

  • (Watch the Video Evidence Here)

3. The "Police Landmark" Abuse

  • Address: 596, 4th Floor, Meenakshi Layout, Hosa Rd, opp. KSRP Police Camp, Electronic City.

  • The Reality: A total fabrication. They are using a government landmark to look "official."

  • (Watch the Video Evidence Here)

4. The "IT Office" Impersonation

  • Address: 42, opp. Veerabhadra Temple, Silicon Town, Doddanagamangala Village, Electronic City.

  • The Reality: An established IT company—no moving service exists here.

Why These "Ghost Offices" Are Dangerous

These aren't just minor map errors. They are calculated risks to your property:

  1. The Bait-and-Switch: They use high-trust addresses (like police camps or temples) to trick you into trusting them. Once they have your deposit, they vanish.

  2. Zero Accountability: If a company doesn't have an office, there is no one to hold accountable when your goods arrive damaged or go missing.

  3. Price Traps: These "ghosts" lure you in with suspiciously low quotes that inevitably turn into "extra charges" on moving day.

My Mission: The #ExposeFakeMovers Initiative

I am not just auditing; I am building a shield for our city. Through the Movers Sena, I am creating a verified list of honest logistics professionals who actually exist, who have real offices, and who stand by their service.

How to Protect Yourself

  • Never Trust the Pin: Just because Google Maps shows an office, doesn't mean it exists.

  • Ask for a Site Visit: Always ask the mover for a physical office address and offer to drop by. If they make excuses, block them.

  • Join the Sena: Check our verified list before you book your next move.

Have you been cheated by a "Ghost" mover in Bengaluru? Do not let them get away with it. Report the address to me, and I will personally include it in my next audit.
