Hi, I am Jeethendra Sharma—Founder of Sharma Porters, Chief Trust Officer (CTO) of the Movers Sena alliance, and Param Sevak of the Sena network. More importantly, I am your neighborhood friend. That is my name as a Google Local Guide, earned through real, physical apartment-by-apartment and office-by-office audits right here on the ground in Bengaluru.
Let's talk about transparency and how we got here. My journey started long ago under the name Sharma Packers and Movers Bangalore. But over time, as the market flooded with copycats and unregulated operators, that name—like many honest names in this industry—got diluted, duplicated, and misused by entities operating in the shadows.
Instead of hiding behind a crowded market, I chose complete transparency. That is why we evolved into Sharma Porters—drawing a hard, uncompromised line between genuine, ground-tested service and market fraud.
What is happening across digital mapping platforms right now is shocking. Most Google Business Maps listings in our sector are registered under SAB (Service Area Business) categories and are widely misused by India's top moving aggregators and ghost companies. This isn't just a technical loophole; it is a violation and a cybercrime.
When I took a ride and conducted real boots-on-the-ground audits across Bengaluru, the data proved it: up to 76% of logistics companies, transport companies, packers & movers, and parcel services are operating as ghost entities.
They hide behind virtual pins. They flash a valid GST number like a shield to create an illusion of legality. But while having a tax certificate isn't a crime, using a fake address to execute household scams, extortion, and moving-day hostage crimes is. That duplication has distorted our industry and victimized everyday families.
